I’ve lived about 12,500 days. Greatest one? Today!

It’s official. This is the greatest day of my entire life. Day I got married? Not even close. (sorry Amy) Day Kaitlin or Alex were born? Nope. (sorry guys). Day I was born? Well OK, that was probably the greatest day in the history of the world. But today is just out of control cool with news that if you live along the Wasatch Front in Utah will make you literally weep with joy.

In-N-Out Burger is opening a location in Draper, 10 minutes from my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude. That is by far the best news in the entire world. As I think we talked about via Twitter, my wife and I are moving to SLC in June. She is originally from the Bay Area and went to school at UC San Diego. We go to In-N-Out every single time we are in CA or NV. In fact, my mother-in-law actually calls me every time she goes to In-N-Out just to rub it in. Classic. I own 3 In-N-Out t-shirts, one sticker (on my Macbook now), an apron, and one hat.

    So. Freakin. Pumped.

  • Now, I just need them to build an overpass over I-15, then I have a direct route to In-and-Out.
  • I've never been to one of these joints. Hell, I never even heard of it till some time in the past couple of months. All I know is it had better be as good as everyone tells me they are or someone's going to get hurt when I can ever find one to go visit. Maybe next time I'm out in the Mesa / Phoenix area I'll hit one up.
