BYU Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology
Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management today announced the merger of the Rollins Center for eBusiness with the Center for Entrepreneurship to create the Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology.
Since last fall, I’ve been serving on the advisory board with 17 others for the Rollins Center for eBusiness. I’m so excited about this new combined center, especially as I helped an ad hoc committee put together recommendations on how to make this merger work, and how the new center can focus on helping BYU students use technology and entrepreneurship to change the world by solving some big problems.

Utah State University Entrepreneurship Seminar Blog
I was going to be speaking at the first annual Utah State University Entrepreneurship Seminar in April in Logan. But my extended trip to India over the next many weeks (more on that this coming week) threw those plans into the dumpster.
So, they asked if I’d kick off their blog for the seminar with the first post.

I’ve lived about 12,500 days. Greatest one? Today!
It’s official. This is the greatest day of my entire life. Day I got married? Not even close. (sorry Amy) Day Kaitlin or Alex were born? Nope. (sorry guys). Day I was born? Well OK, that was probably the greatest day in the history of the world. But today is just out of control cool with news that if you live along the Wasatch Front in Utah will make you literally weep with joy.
In-N-Out Burger is opening a location in Draper, 10 minutes from my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Silicon Slopes
For those of you unfamiliar with it, Silicon Slopes is a community site for the technology companies in Utah. It’s been spearheaded by Josh James and Omniture, and recently has added a chunk of other community sponsors and supporters.
