The Friday Four For You To Answer

In an effort to get to know the people who are reading my blog, once a month or so I’m going to pose four entrepreneurial-related questions for everyone–myself included–to answer. To get us started, here are four basic questions:
- What type of business are you in, and what is your role within the company?
- When you find that you’re getting burned out at work, what do you do to recharge?
- Who do you consider a role model and why?
- When was the last time you updated your resume?
In case you’re wondering how I’d answer these questions myself, click on the ‘comment’ link below. After reading my response, please leave one of your own.

1. Product sourcing and Internet software and services.
2. I go backpacking for a good few days, and make dang sure I have no contact with the outside world–and no interaction with technology, no cell phones, no email, not computers, and NO internet.
3. My role model is my Dad. He taught me about hard work, about risk/reward, and about just getting things done.
4. Not for a long while. It has evolved from a resume to a Bio if you will, and the Bio is updated every few months it seems.

What would make more profit? A good book or product sourcing and sales.
1) I am a website manager for a company that sells tactical weapons accessories. to the federal government. I also do SEO consulting for small to medium businesses.
2) I havent had the chance to burn some steam and relax for a while, but when I do, I like to mountain bike and go to the gun range.
3) My role model would have to be my Dad as well.. (sorry to copy) My dad taught me about Focus, Intensity and Priority. When you Focus with full Intensity on your top Priority and eliminate distraction, you can accomplish any well planned goal.
4) I updated it this morning. I am always in the habit of being ready for any possibilities that could show up.

1) I wear many hats (but I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.) These are my current duties: [A] ministry leader over the website development and book publications ministries at my church, [B] the dean of faculty at a small Christian University, [C] personal life coach, and [D] (in my “spare time”) I also work with the state Organ Procurement Organization as a tissue recovery team leader.
2) Definitely hiking/backpacking. I’m about 15 minutes from the Appalachian Trail, and there’s nothing more relaxing than spending a few nights out there.
3) My role models are my pastors and John Maxwell. They have taught me to not only become a leader, but to help develop the leadership (and general) potential in those around me.
4) Last year?
