Leading By Getting Out of the Way
By now, everyone who cares to know already knows that the University of Florida’s Men’s Basketball team won the NCAA Division I College Basketball Championship (they beat UCLA on Monday night at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis by a score of 73-57, just in case you didn’t know). A buddy of mine who was lucky enough to score tickets to the ‘Final Four’ told me something about the championship game that you couldn’t necessarily see from the live television broadcast. He said that UCLA’s star player, a talented point guard named Jordan Farmar, was barking orders at his fellow teammates, and that by halfway thru the second half, no one was even listening to him anymore.
